Functional Specification
Basics:All subsequent specifications and definitions establish the Richter Elektronik factory standard.
Deviations from this standard, e.g. reduced tolerances, can be agreed and used for production. This will require a written agreement in each individual case. A prerequisite for the application of these specifications and definitions is the availability of suitable CAD data (Gerber) for the manufacturing process.
The specifications cannot be warranted for printed circuit boards that have been set up previously and for which no manufacturing CAD data is available.Additional to the subsequent specifications, the PCB standards according to IPC/A-600 (F) Class I and II shall apply. These standards shall apply only with regard to features which are not explicitly specified or defined in the subsequent specifications. If there is a discrepancy between the Richter Elektronik specifications and the standards mentioned above, the definitions of Richter Elektronik shall apply.
Special requirements and special requests deviating from the standard can be met subject to prior approval by Richter Elektronik.Unless explicitly specified otherwise all our definitions and standards refer to normal FR4 printed circuit boards.

Printed circuit boards which are ordered with UL approval will show the UL mark in the solder resist mask in a location which is to be specified by the customer. (If the UL mark is to appear in a different layer the customer has to specify this in the manufacturing data.)On the following pages with technical information you will find some excerpts from our current functional specification.
